I like to depict certain symbols in an abstract flavor of my thoughts and what I see. It makes me happy to use different materials and achieve new textures while doing this.
While driving on the Orlando side of Oviedo, I saw a peacock with its tail open on the road. I parked my car and watched him for a long time. He had a magnificent sight. I decided to paint her.
It took a long time to complete the table. It was finished in about 45 days. The picture is 36×72 inches. I was inspired by the ceramic wall panel for the texture of the painting. I needed to use ceramic as the material to create the same texture, but I didn’t want that. I tried many materials. Among these, I got the best result from the cork surface. It was both lightweight and environmentally friendly. I cut the leftover mushroom pieces and gave them the shape I wanted. I made peacock lines from leather threads. I painted it with acrylic paint and coated it with resin. The result was great. A mystical and historical image emerged.
