Sunrise on the water

I like to depict certain symbols in an abstract flavor of my thoughts and what I see. It makes me happy to use different materials and achieve new textures while doing this. While making this painting, I was inspired by the reflection of the sunrise in the water. The picture is 24×48 inches. I used old, used leather bags on canvas for recycling. I cut the leathers of the bags and glued them to the surface to create texture. I painted it with acrylic paint and coated it with resin.
