The phoenix is an immortal bird associated with any cultures that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by rising from the ashes of its predecessor.
Over time, extending beyond its origins, the phoenix could variously “symbolize renewal in general as well as the sun, time, the Empire, metempsychosis, consecration, resurrection, life in the heavenly Paradise, Christ, Mary, virginity, the exceptional man, and certain aspects of Christian life”.[3] Some scholars have claimed that the poem De ave phoenice may present the mythological phoenix motif as a symbol of Christ’s resurrection.[4] I decided to paint her.

When i was a young i effected story of phoenix. I decided to paint it.

The picture is 48×62 inches. I was inspired by the ceramic wall panel for the texture of the painting. I needed to use ceramic as the material to create the same texture, but I didn’t want that. I tried many materials. Among these, I got the best result from the cork surface. It was both lightweight and environmentally friendly. I cut the leftover mushroom pieces and gave them the shape I wanted. I made peacock lines from leather threads. I painted it with acrylic paint and coated it with resin. The result was great. A mystical and historical image emerged. It sold. You can order it different size.
